The Hyatt Regency Maui team didn’t let a brush fire stop the Drums of the Pacific Luau last night, June 8th.
As the devastating Maui brush fires raged, Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa offered some community assistance yesterday. As they consistently do whenever an emergency forces road closures, the Hyatt team hired Sunshine Helicopters to duty. Using the resort’s landing pad atop the towers, the Sunshine helicopter and team made two trips each way to transport seven stranded airline crew members to the airport, and picking up six Tihati Productions performers.
Here are members of the Tihati performers arriving at the Hyatt via helicopter to perform for 500 guests last night. Hyatt’s General Manager Michael Jokovich was on-hand and accompanied some of the passengers, snapping a photo of the fire en route.
Kudos to the Hyatt for their dedication to safety and assuring their guests the Show Goes On!
