Planned Parenthood of Hawaii proudly presents the Second Annual Holiday Home Tour Sunday, December 6th, 2009, 10 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The annual event affords participants the opportunity to tour six beautiful upcountry homes including behind the scenes views of Chef Bev Gannon’s personal kitchen and artist George Allen’s studio and gallery. Proceeds from the event will raise much needed funds for Planned Parenthood’s educational outreach programs on Maui.
The outing will include a silent auction for items including hotel stays, Luaus, sunset sails and restaurant certificates. Ticket holders will also be eligible to win door prizes donated by local merchants and businesses. Iced Tea and Cookies, courtesy Big Island Candies, will be served along the home tour route.
Advance tickets are $25; at the door, $30. Purchase four tickets and the 4th is free. Tickets are available by calling Kapalua Realty, (808-665-5454) or Take Home Maui in Lahaina. Tour participants should check in at Hali`imaile General Store the day of the tour to secure maps and directions to the various homes. Chef Bev Gannon’s highly acclaimed restaurant, Hali`imaile, typically closed on Sundays, will be open by reservation from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m., serving brunch and lunch for this exclusive event. Menu options will include Lox and Bagel Platter, Salmon Benedict, Greek Omelet, Carmelized Onion Omelet, Kobe Hamburgers, Ahi Panzanella Salad, and Rock Shrimp Crab Cake over Spinach Salad, to name but a few.
