Mama always told you there were more fish in the sea and to make sure it stays that way, every locovore interested in sustainability, along with every chef, diner, restauranteur, mother, child, brother, sister, should be interested in the health of our seas and the creatures that make the ocean their home. Because, well … we are all connected– plus we like to eat great seafood in abundance.
Second Annual More Fish in the Sea Festival
Hawaii Wildlife Fund and the More Fish in the Sea Steering Committee announce the April 3, 2010, Second Annual More Fish in the Sea Festival. We all want more fish in the sea, but we have fewer and fewer. This Festival invites all Mauians to join for a celebration of the efforts being made to bring more fish to the sea and provides hands on opportunities to help. The Festival will include Hawaiian music, food, films, action projects, kids games, and more. Hold the date now — join us for the second annual More Fish in the Sea Festival. Stop in from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Cary and Eddie’s Hideaway Tavern right behind the First Hawaiian Bank bldg at Kahului Harbor.
