This restaurant has won many “best” awards over the years and is one of Maui’s only restaurants serving what I’d deem “Continental” cuisine. It’s very popular for many Maui residents and long-time visitors who laud the food and service. But since most people come to Maui wanting new, different, seafood, or local, Waterfront rarely makes it on my recommended “must-do” list. It’s just a little dowdy and pricey for my liking, though I appreciate the fact you can indulge in old-world dining favorites such as Onion Soup en Croute, Caesar salads prepared table side, and bow-tied waters.
