Parking at Kahului Airport

Kahului Airport raised their daily parking rates to $9 recently. To the rescue is Speedi Parking, which offers $5 (uncovered), $7 (covered), and $9 (indoor) parking rates along with shuttle service that delivers customers curbside for convenient and hassle free check-in.

If you’ll be off island for a while, an alternative is to rent a car for your trip to the airport. Kaanapali’s Budget location picks you up at your home or office, checks you in at their convenient location and has you on your way in minutes. On the return trip you just drop the car off  into their west side location, and they will deliver you home again, no extra charge.

Considering that the fare for taxi or shuttle service from Maui’s west side to the airport is $100 each way, even after paying drop-off charges at the airport (or back to Kaanapali) you will save about $50 each way, plus parking fees incurred during your absence were you to drive your own car.
